Dodge Ball?!?

Being an Average Joe, I was good at dodge ball as a kid. Being quick, agile yet built like David Daskal it was an oddity how I could routinely beat out most of the jocular types at this game. But most of my freinds were usually crushed in about the first minute of the game.

I was more than a little disappointed to see the high school segment have dodge ball as the tie breakingevent. Gosh I wonder if having two of the three events be, basically, gym classes would give an advantage to the new guys.

Sure this was deliberate and a way to knock the joes down a notch, but it could have been better. It would have been funny to split the sides and reform teams due to it being a tie, thus some joes and new guys at the dance. It would have been a good way to either hilight their differences by being forced to cooperate or take the edge off the new guy's general impression of being jocular jackholes.

An event that combined smarts amd physical ability would have been better, but I guess that is too much to ask for....and probably not the goal of the segment, from the producer's point of view.

Grr!!! I said the same thing! I couldn't believe that they had two physical events and only one mental one, especially considering high school is more like 5 mental and 1 physical. How fair is that?!

Yeah that's a unique and clever idea (having some joes and some hunks both at the dance). Too bad the producers aren't clever enough to think like that.

Also why two physical challenges in a row? That was a set-up anybody could see coming a mile away. The joe's didn't have a chance.

They should have had them do something a little more creative like have to make their way thru a lunchroom cafeteria "obstacle course" while blindfolded and carrying a tray full of food...and the opposite team can get to try and trip them up. LOL

That would be hilarious to see a hunk with a tray full of salsbury steak, mashed potatoes and pie flying in the air when a Joe sticks his foot out and sends him reeling. LOL...Maybe I'm just wicked?

In the end though would you really want to date a woman that would enjoy watching the joes get beaten so badly when they obviously never stood a chance?
I wouldn't.

That would have given the Joe's something of a chance. Hopefully this week they will have a chance to get back at the jocks. Something fromt he trailers suggest that the jovks are going to have as rough a go of it in the near future, it remains to see what.
