Bring back this reality show as, 'Shallow Girl'

I'm not the only one totally put off with this demeaning and humiliating reality show; shocked by how long it lasted. More, why did guys submit themselves to such humiliation? The answer is that everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame.

A few imdb posters had the clarity to point out the reality show demeaned young women by depicting them as shallow and deceitful.

Scientists and researchers keep telling us that human beings are hard-wired into 'physical and physiological beauty' and few people can argue that. You see this human behavior from kindergarten years to the grave. Perhaps the only time human beings get over our mutual physical beauty obsession is old age when everyone looks unattractive, even those who were glamorous at age 21.

Maybe the show's producers should bring back the reality show with the purpose of demeaning and humiliating young women by re-naming it, "Shallow Gal" or "Shallow Girl", or, "Plastic Girl".

But the most honest title would be, "Beauty Matters Most", because in the defunct show's history, it was true, beauty did matter the most at the end when the young ladies ditched their final choice for one of the young, beach stud hunks. That refects the power of sex appeal and hormones.

Now women do make 'calculating' decisions to marry unattractive or aged men because these fellows offer wide-ranging financial stability (read, wealth), and/or social class prestige. Some women have consciously subordinated love and passion for a comfortable, secure man, and you know what, that's not a wrong decision. It's logical. It's just that if a woman makes this decision, she should do so when it's most advantageous to her and not when it's too late for her.
