The Catcher on the Screen

Although I really like this movie, I kind of hope this is the closest Hollywood ever gets to an adaptation of ‘Catcher in The Rhye’. The fact that it’s possibly the most coveted story ever means that the rights would invariably go with the money. Which means overblown blockbuster trite. That said, if there were a movie made today, who do you think should play Holden? When I read the book I had a mental image of Lucas Haas for some reason. I guess he’s way too old now, so I’m gonna go with Paul Dano.
