I was in this movie! Anyone have a copy I can borrow?

Gawd, I've spent the last month looking for ANYONE who has a copy of this show--even a scratchy old VHS tape will do. I was an extra in this movie, and I want to see if I can find myself in the background. Aside from that, I don't believe this program has much merit. But I will pay "top dollar" (yes, exactly $1 is what I'm offering) for a copy.

I think I'm in a scene or two (girl with long, brown hair dressed as a searcher) generally waving my arms and making a total spectacle of myself... hope I didn't ruin their movie. LOL

Give yourself a pat on the back for that one, because that's all it's worth. The whole story is a joke. Glad you were able to be in a movie though. Good for you!!

rooprect~ which character you were?

lol I was just an extra. There were a lot of us (~100) in the scene. It's when there's a big media spectacle, and people are beginning to search the area for Elizabeth. There are tents and kiosks with information, flashlights, balloons, etc, and I was one of the people grabbing a flashlight. Haha not exactly an important character, but I've always wanted to find myself on screen. :P

How you were a extra?

It's pretty easy really. Look up "casting agencies" in your local phone book or on the web. They'll ask you for a "head shot" (photograph) and your personal bio (age, measurements, skills, acting/entertainment experience). Then they'll keep it on file, and every few months you'll get a call. It's all free--don't pay anyone any money or else they may be cheating you.

It helps if you live in a big city. And Canada sees a lot of action because it's cheaper to produce movies up there. Btw, extras don't get payed much. I got $80 for a whole day of filming.

Good luck, and hey if you become famous, I want your autograph. "Thanks to rooprect for launching my career" lol

80$ for grabbing a flashlight?
not bad.

This film has been issued on DVD as part of a six movie value pack called Shocking Crimes by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment. I purchased said DVD at a local WalMart in Central New Jersey for a mere five bucks.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
