Was it just me or did the family come off as incest? The mother was clearly making advances on her daughter, she dressed her in that slutty maidens outfit "Why's my own mother dressing me up as a slut?", and there was multiple scenes where she'd get real close in her face almost kissing her. Then we see them spanking each other when they're looking out the window and the daughters bent over and starts thrusting her ass into her mom.

And the little brother wanted to marry his sister and the mom didn't seem to think that was weird at all. And the sister didn't seem to think it was inappropriate that her BF was rubbing her tits right infront of her little brother, weird fcking family.

Thats what i love about these high school girls, i get older they stay the same age.

this movie was weird as hell period. but sometimes a little siblings who idolizes their big brother or sister gets jealous when their brother or sister gets into a serious relationship. they feel like the bf/gf will take them away from them. like the little big upset that his big sis is breaking tradition by bringing her college bf trick or treating with them. but i think they were joking around with the marriage or sluttt maid stuff. but i'm going to lie, i was thinking the same thing you were.

He was a child that didn't know you can't marry your sister. It's not like he thinks they'll be a sexually active couple or anything, he just always wants to be with her. That's all he thinks marriage is. And the mother/daughter exchanges? I've known plenty of mothers and daughters that act like that with each other. These acts exist in far less strict households, where the parents aren't just parents, but friends to they're children. They are comfortable slapping each others asses. Big deal. As for the sister not caring her little brother was standing there when she was being felt up... I agree. That's weird.

And the flowers are STILL standing!

I think a lot of people are unfamiliar with camp or campy horror as a sophisticated medium. It's really obvious, unfortunately, that this movie is only going to make sense to people who get that it's campy (it's a particular style of performance that is intentionally exaggerated or over the top, in a wink wink nudge nudge sort of way)...and also to people who understand horror. People who enjoy this movie have probably seen so many horror movies they can identify horror tropes in their sleep. Also I think it's a certain type of sense of humor, like you get it or you don't, I first liked campy movies at age ten, it's not like you need a degree in film.

The mom even said something about incest at the beginning when Doggie said he was going to marry his sister. But no I don't think the family was like that.

Because she realizes that he doesnt mean it in a sexual way. He thinks that marrying someone is just hanging out with them. He likes hanging out with his sister. He thinks that marrying his sister would allow him to hang out with her more. Its really not any more complicated than that.

Giving him a talk about incest would just be unnecessary. He will figure it out eventually. If he doesnt, well they can have a talk about it at that point.
