i have only just discovered this movie and as i am from the u.k, had never heard of it before
i was intersted to know whether they are still collecting/being sent paper clips?

Hi, I'm from the UK too, and today I was offered a place on a school trip with my R.E class too visit a presentation that the principal of the school is doing. Do you want me to find out if they are still collecting and let you know? Ill be going on Thursday 28th January.

So it's a year and a half later: What did you find out? My impression is they were no longer collecting paper clips at the end of the film.
