Gabriel Byrne sex addiction was a bit extreame

I almost couldn't look at him after all the things he has done when talking to Laura Linney.

I just didn't get why they felt they had to add this to the story. It certainly didn't add anything. I guess they had to come up with something that would make her get over him or something.

That ain't no Etch-A-Sketch. This is one doodle that can't be un-did, Homeskillet.

This was part of the book, I believe. I think that it's supposed to emphasize how Louise have been so wrapped up in her fantasy life that she didn't even notice what was going on. The fact the Peter notes that she had cast him in her mind as a "knight in shining armor" and that he mentions how that the more he acted out, the more she turned a blind eye shows something about her. I think it's definitely believable that a woman who didn't notice that her husband was sleeping with hundreds of people behind her back would totally believe that F. Scott Feinstadt was her dead high school sweetheart
