I'm not a huge fan of Strategy RPGs (I much prefer the traditional Turn Based) but I was just wondering if anyone was playing this and what were you thoughts about it? I loved it for it's charm and sheer depth as well as the endless amount of levels and exciting battles. What do you guys think?

Yep i played it and beat it, but sadly my friend wanted it back before i could do more that. I would have to say this is the best Strat-RPG ever made. What it lacks in story it more than makes up for in hilarity(that even a word?). They released more copys but then stoped again so i might find another one on some random trip to gamestop. love the following quote

Ahh Disgaea, extremely rare here in England. I saw the anime recently, and tried the game at a friends, its all good! It took me a month to track down a non-ebay copy, but in the end I got one, all shiny and new and sealed. It was worth every second of that time, and every penny of the £30 it cost.
Im up to chapter 4 right now, and it's getting a bit difficult.
But yah, brilliant game, and the rarity just adds to the appeal.
9/10, if not more!
I just started chapter 10. it is brilliant. But it still doesn't beat knights of the old republic.

Bloody Awesome, the voice acting and the dialogue is great with some ace characters.
The cut scenes between episode are just hilarious!
Standard game completed, characters now at level 1000 and no-where near hard enough for the extras...
