Now showing on the here! network
here!, the GLBT cable channel, has been programming this in one of their 12 hour rotation blocks. I had to look up this film, because I had never heard of it before, and the interactive cable guide said it was released in 2007. That piqued my curiosity, because films don't usually get to cable until other pay avenues have been exhausted.
Ten minutes into the film, I found out why the other revenue streams dried up.
This film is not good, but it's one of those that's interesting to watch for the sheer awfulness (as in what were they thinking?).
here!'s also listed as a distributor, so I guess they figure after playing on 2 or 3 screens nationwide and grossing 5 figures, it's time for cable. Did they overlook the DVD/pay-per-view opportunities? I'm sure they could have squeeze another $1K or so out of it...
