I am beginning to think if we didnt see this at one of the film festivals it was at in 2005, we will never get to see it. I have been patiently waiting now for over 18 months, I wouldnt care if it was direct to DVD., even, Id just like to see it finally.

I don't think it's coming out this month.
John posted earlier this year that three of his movies were coming, "Death Sentence" (just came out), this, and...I guess "Evan Almighty" hadn't hit yet.

he got snarky when I said I heard the title had changed to "Freshman Orientation".
oh well.

since this has been sitting since 2005, they should just go d2v.
their best shot was following Sam Huntington's appearance in "Superman Returns" last year, and only John has the star power to get it out, right now. The only other semi-recognizable names are Heather Matarazzo and SNL's Rachel Dratch in supporting roles.

It's getting a one-week art-house release here in Philly starting today. Sure to guarantee that the obvious target audience will miss it. It played at the G&L Film Festival a couple of years ago, where I and my two friends saw and were quite amused by it.

Saw this in Denver over the weekend. It turned out to be exactly what I thought it would be...OK. I have been waiting for the release for years, so i felt obligated to catch it in its 1 week release. I liked the movie, but if this was released on a much wider scale, I would not have gone out of my way to watch it.

This outrageously hilarious film opens at the Quad Cinema in NYC on Sept. 28th.

Limited engagement starts 9/28 at the Lagoon Theater in Minneapolis.

Well...that's very Christian. Believe what I say or I'll hit you.

the date for this release should have been moved up for eternity!

So this film was finished in 2004 but wasn't released until 2007 (according to the postings above)??? I mean, either way I'm like half a decade late but so glad I watched this today haha
