Why the low rating?

I am not one to laugh at many films. I generally don't like many comedies. But this film was so funny. I saw it with 5 friends. Five of us were roaring with laughter, in fact the entire theatre was. One of my friends, however, was upset by the film for of a variety of politically correct reasons, and he even wrote a letter of complaint to the theatre management. I think raters like my friend are the ones that give this really cool film a ridiculously low rating of 1.9. I will definitely be purchasing this film on DVD.

do you recall a girl who plays the drums and rips open her shirt in the film?

reply

I think because it was so unrealistic: anyone else who's ever worked in campus activism would kill to get a coalition organized that fast between that many different groups. ;)

I just watched it and gave it 7, i loved it! really funny and different plus I have a new crush on Sam Huntington he is hot!

Life is like a movie only you can't pick your genre-Scream (1996)

Huntington is always funny to watch, no doubt. This was a funnier rip on the pretentious 'i'm gay cause it's cool' type crowd than people are giving it credit for. However it spirals into nothingness for the final act, and eventually drowns in it's own cliche soup...

"Andrew, we can't possibly be dead. We have cable." - Nothing

because it is bad - hellloooo!

I loved it. It made me laugh and that is what I look for in a comedy.

The first half was hilarious, but then it sort of fell apart after that.
