Good movie...but awful moves by Santiago

Don't get me wrong, the movie was great and the acting was pretty decent too, but there's one thing it always cracks me up.

His moves. I mean, his back looks strange when he runs with the ball. No player runs like that even when they're amateur. Also, he can't kick a ball, it's just ridiculous the way he does. The last freekick? The way he approached the ball to kick it into the net? Wtf? Oh, and he's right-footed and uses his left foot to take the freekick? I think they should have picked an actor who had minimum skills with the ball, because this is a FOOTBALL movie after all. Even that guy who played Gavin Harris has the basic move to kick a ball like an amateur footballer and he's american.

I heard the actor who played Santiago doesn't watch or play soccer.

Probably shouldn't complain about the last freekick or they way he approached the ball. That was actual game footage from Laurent Robert's goal against Liverpool. He scored in the real game, so I guess the approach wasn't all that bad.
