where can i find a copy?
and what's the talk about a longer version with a different name?

this movie sounds very interesting to me, thanks.

The feature length version is called "Were the World Mine". In cinemas/festival circuit now and DVD release in ~May 09. I tried to find "Fairies" too, but to no avail yet. Perhaps on a shorts compilation or if we're lucky, on the feature DVD as a Special Feature ?

Faries is indeed included on the Were The World Mine dvd

Not in the U.S., it wasn't. And it doesn't appear to be available on U.S. iTunes any more, either.

WOLF video has it available on the DVD "Boy Crazy"
It is one of six featurettes on the DVD>

If you have Netflix ... you can rent it!

It was later turned into a full feature movie called "Were the World Mine".
I happen to like both.

I found it on Vimeo last night. It's got French subtitles and a watermark in the corner. (Just Google "Fairies 2013" and it should come up.) Wow, this might have impressed me if I hadn't seen "Were the World Mine" first. I can appreciate that this was the first version of the concept, but it was much better in its expanded form as a feature. (With a better singer as Timothy and better sound design.)
