I really feel bad that jobs for black actors and actresses are so scarce, they actually have to degrade themselves by appearing in crap like this. All it does is further stereotypes that need to be destroyed. Queen Latifah especially is ridiculous. So every young black man is in the midst of committing a crime? They all drive hoopties, or Hummers if they have money, and listen to hip-hop. I guess the only way a black man can make money is by playing basketball. Oh, and don't forget, all black women are money hungry and two-faced. This is like the Black Beverly Hi... Oh my gosh she just said that as I was typing this. I need to stop now, this is ridiculous.

i have to agree. even though i laughed a few times while watching this just last night on cable, it is an incredibly bad film. stereotypical and predictable from beginning to end. queen latifah actually had a hand in writing this mess, and has her mother "acting" in it. danny glover, eve, jenifer lewis, meagan good, i hope they all at least got paid well for this or were simply having a silly good ol' time. otherwise this has no redeeming qualities, but, again, this silly mess did make me laugh. i just didn't expect it to be so bad.

couldn't agree any more... this is back to that same ol' '80s-'90s stereotypical films about minorities and rich people's reaction when near them. I personally don't think it's that funny, I never did.

I agree. The movie is filled with various steryotypes, dumb jokes, bad acting and has no purpose what so ever.

the only part of this movie that made me laugh was ---
when one of the "bad guys" (i think they were bad guys) was
crawling on the ground following a skunk callling it kitty.
then it pissed in his face! LOL....that did make me laugh

This movie was such bull that it's hard to watch it without holding your nose. There are so much things to get angry at but the the standout has to be the momma. She is such garbage.. but her acting was believable. Her role must haunt her to this day though. Ridiculous. She must pay.

The sad thing is that there will probably continue with degrading racist stereotypical movies like this with the exact same story.

I think this is a joke of racist people. The situations and characters are so exagerate and stupid that it is impossible to believe they exist in reality, only in the minds of racist people. The really racist movies are more subtle like those where the black cop gives his life for the white one, or the problem child is black or where over a black boss there is always a white manager.

I agree. This movie was crap. Really nothing good to like about it. I see people giving Tyler Perry movies low ratings, but this film is worse then any Tyler Perry movie I've seen. The 3.3 rating is actually justifiable here. I watched about 30-40 mins of this film and just couldn't take it anymore. The script, acting and directing is just horrible. Johnson's Family Vacation was bit better, but not by much. I did like Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkin. Not perfect, but at least it was funny and entertaining.

Being black myself, it pisses me off when black actors and actresses take these bad roles. There are good roles out there for them, but they have to go and get them. A perfect example is Tyrese Gibson. I know, not the best actor in the world. He's a singer turned actor, so what did you expect. Still, the brother was in 3 Fast & the Furious films and 3 Transformers films. So he did something right for them to bring him back twice in each film. These are big budget films that can move you forward to better script. Ludacris & André Benjamin haven't done to bad either. Please stay away from these C movies that will hurt your career.

Im not surprised to see a bunch of rappers and wannabe rappers and comedians here but Im really surprised to see talented actors and actresses as good as Danny Glover, Frankie Faison, Jennifer Lewis and Queen Latifah playing in this trash. This movie basically reinforces one of the most negative stereotypes about black people. It portrays us as being obessed with money at the expense of education and our relationships with family and other blacks.

Though roles for black actors in movies dont come easy, they should have more pride than to star in self-destructive movies like this. It almost looks like it was designed to embarrass blacks yet, these actors lined up to be in it.

I total agree. It was TOO much. The Todd Anderson guy was cute but, what was the point. Cookouts might be crazy and we will fight but c'mon man in a mansion place? And the producers probably lost some money. It just tried to be something it wasn't. It's like it was no point in making this and Danny Glover should be SHAME on himself for being in such crappy movie and Queen Latifah too!! It was ok to watch but to like have black people act that crazy just makes me mad! Also it wasn't funny. The whole part of a S.W.A.T thing and police and Ja Rule(God bless his heart...and his speech) and the skunk...NOT NEEDED!

Now all of you really need to calm down. Its not an actual racist movie, I mean, c'mon. Like someone earlier said, the situations are so impossible they're just impossible to imagine. I thought this movie was actually pretty fun as a movie, you all just hate it because "OMG It's racist!!!!!!! OMGWTFBBQ I GOTTA RANT"

i swear to god... you people and the crap you cry about. It was a stupid comedy of course its gonna be retarded and have bad actors. Cry more about it being racist. Every single movie that comes out today is some how racist and stereotypes your people. Either it shows blacks in a bad way or it doesn't have enough blacks in it so its racist. Seriously get over it, its a movie stfu about it.

I thought this movie was Good and Bad.I don't know why they always have to have White People try to act like Black Folks,and it's badly acted.Even Danny Glover's Character was rather odd? And I was shock to see Queen Latifa act so stupid.And the woman with all the kids was annoying,and ugly.
