Little things you notice after repeated viewings and love....

Hi everyone :) I could run with this topic on any number of my favourite films but I've been rewatching the Concert again after a self-imposed hiatus on viewings. And besides the wonderful music and palpable love in the air, there are those lovely little moments to pick out...

I love the little half-wink and smile Paul gives Eric and co. near the end of All Things Must Pass, just before his playful little flourish on the acoustic - that gets a smile from the boys too if you watch :)

The crowd shots at the end of While My Guitar go to the upper level, you see a boy standing at the edge, totally into it, raising his arms in excitement and glancing back (at his parents?) with a huge grin on his face - keep it up mate, you're into the good stuff!

Eric easing his head back, closing his eyes and mouthing the words during Billy Preston's first verse on Isn't It A Pity - as he stated, one of his favourites.

Memorial concerts, tributes etc. can be really over the top sometimes but this one's from the heart. Anyone got similar magic moments? Thanks for listening:)

I was just watching it, and there's a part where Dhani is kind of coming on stage, but he's still in the middle of the drums or something, and he's wiping his face, maybe tears? I don't know, it's super-touching.

For You Blue--at the end of the instrumental section, Ringo says, "And that's the 12-bar blues," just as George Harrison had said in the original recording of the song (Let It Be album). Paul catches the joke and smiles back at Ringo.

Handle with Care--I like Tom Petty's wry smile on the line, "Ah, the sweet smell of success."

Lots of great moments!

I was touched by how Tom Petty kept glancing up at the photo of George while singing "I Need You." I'm with the OP, there's just so many wonderful moments it's hard to list them all.

The absolute great fun the backup singers are having during "Honey Don't." Oh hell, everyone was having a blast !! Albert Lee, with that impish grin at the end of his guitar solo, Ray Cooper flinging around the tambourine, everybody ! I was especially having fun rewinding Lee's solo - Clapton said of Lee, "he is the greatest guitarist in the world..."

The smirks the other musicians give to Paul McCartney during the performance of "Wah-Wah" at the end. The reason for the smirks was because George wrote the song as an open message to Paul: "I'm sick of your overbearing, controlling attitude". Also, earlier in the concert, although I'm not a sentimental sap, I have to admit that Ringo frequently pointing at the picture of George while singing "Photograph" was touching.
