who's that guy.....

who's always playing guitar when Clapton is too busy singing? He's got longish really curly hair and he's wearing a cap. He played slide on My Sweet Lord, and he played the quick guitar breaks (not the long solos) on While My Guitar Gently Weeps. To give another detail, he's playing a Fender Strat in three-color sunburst with a pearly colored pick gaurd. That should eliminate all confusion! I recognize him, but I can't put a name to the face!

Thanks!

I think it's Marc Mann.....that's what it says in the liner note ( electric guitar ) either that or it's Andy Fairweather Low, but I don't think so.

I'd like to know the name of the guitar player with white curly hair who played alongside Marc Mann. He is also shown when Paul McCartney sings. Is this Andy Fairweather Low? Does anyone know anything more about him?

Thanks!

The guy you're describing sounds like Albert Lee. He has curly grey/white hair and played a fantastic solo during "Honey Don't" during Ringo's segment. As far as I know, he's a hotshot British guitarist who excels at rockabilly and has toured as part of Eric Clapton's band.

Andy Fairweather Lowe is the guy with the goatie. He was part of Weslh sixties band Amen Corner, who did stuff like If Paradise is half as nice, and Bend me shape me. He plays with Clapton all the time now.
The other guy with the hat (not jeff lynne) is Marc Mann... session guy. Appears on the last George album on keyboards.
Any others??????

The curly white-haired guitar player is, indeed, Albert Lee. He's very famous in guitar circles. I saw him in 1983 as Eric Clapton's sideman for the "Money and Cigarettes" tour.

The guy with the cap is Marc Mann. He was a member of Jeff Lynne's ELO also played with Oingo Boingo.
