The Hitman

They should definitely make a movie around this guy's life. In my opinion, he had the most interesting story. Growing up in Chicago and then making his way down to Miami. Killing the 2 year-old and then saving the other kids from being murdered. I think he would be an interesting character to portray in a movie. He is a bad person, but has good morals at times.

What do you guys think?

His life story could make a compelling movie. But, any filmmaker who takes such a project must be very careful to avoid 'Scarface' comparisons. That is really the definitive film of the drug gangster genre, perhaps with 'Blow' a distant second.

The guy definitely led an interesting life to say the least, but I'm not sure I would prefer to watch a movie about this guy. I was immediately reminded of Scarface when he was talking about how his partner wanted to kill the children but he refused. But, believe it or not when Rivi appeared, this is when the story slowed down for me.

The movie started out talking about Mickey and John's seemingly flawless plan. These guys were no thugs, and thought out every possibility. I still can't get over how genius the tow truck company was. I would much prefer to see a movie based around these two guys, the smart ones involved in the operation. These guys were all business and did everything in their power to not get caught.

Rivi was just an unlikeable, evil moron. All the guy did was kill anybody some fat lady told him to kill. He had no brains and no regret. Even Tony Montana, who started out as a hired gun, had the willpower to be more and be somebody. Rivi was content with just killing random people. He didn't even seem that good at it. Who blows up an entire house without first making sure there is at least somebody inside?

The guys Rivi worked for wanted to kill first and ask questions later. Usually the question was, "Sh*t, now how am I going to get my money?" Mickey and John would think months in advance, then roll around in their piles of money and enjoy themselves. I would rather watch a movie about the guys who could do more than point a gun and pull a trigger. Sorry Rivi, you're not movie material.

i enjoyed the jon roberts and mickey mundy portion of the documentary the best also. those guys were more into making money, keeping a low profile, and not getting caught. the columbians and cubans just didn't value ANYTHING in life, while roberts and mundy did.
