...I think was the killers name.
Hell, I did not understand a word this guy was babbling. Bad job by the director. Some subs would have been helpful.

Anyone else with the same problem or is my english just too bad?

Well im German Irish and I understood it all fine, maybe didnt catch everything he said but Id say thats my fault. Im just not a moron like...every ...poster seems to have to be qualified to be.

Yes I caught myself rewinding a couple of times..but part of the problem was for me was that the background music seemed a tad to loud when folks were talking.

Agreed, his accent wasn't too bad but the music was blurring a lot of it out for me.

He is a smooth criminal. I thought it was hilarious how at the end, the movie mentioned Rivi got caught in an embarrassing phone sex scandal while he was in jail with someone working at the police department I believe. They had to throw his testimony out regarding Griselda Blanco. Imagine that.

it wasn't embarrassing for him. he was going to prison regardless. it was the same scandal involving Charles Cosby. So possibly a set-up?? Cosby was able to talk about it on CC2. Rivi couldn't talk about it because the attorney general's offices needed his statements for evidence.

Me and my dad are English and my dad is getting deaf in his old age but we both understood him pretty well, there were a few bits I didnt catch but mostly it was fine and I saw what he was getting at.

I could understand Rivi alright. I think he was used to illustrate how 3 dimensional these characters were. Here was a guy who was both ruthless yet likable. Kind ( letting the kids go) yet calculating.
