This documentary is being glorified for all the wrong reasons!

I personally knew Jons girlfriend for years growing up with her and saw their lifestyle together and way of life during this era of time and all I can say is "karma" always catches up with you in the end. You end up paying the price with Gods will and get disgusted with yourself for being week and going for the fast buck even if you have to use your own family members to do so.

She and I are no longer friends because she is a master manipulator and uses anyone in her path for her own personal gain. These people who hurt so many people should not be profiteering off this movie or any other future movies!

Did you actually WATCH the documentary? It hardly glamorizes the lifestyle. It showed everything. The good, the bad and the ugly.

It did make that lifestyle seem glamorous at times BUT there was always a darkness around it. I totally knew these guys were going to end up paying a price. I had a dark time in my life where I thought "I am going to get away with it" and one day, it all came crashing down. I am lucky to still be around, thank God for the second chance.
Anyway, seeing this documentary reminded me of how much I've been spared of. I can totally relate to living it up and not earning what you have. It was a long time ago. I am different now but watching this movie reminded me the truth that "things will always catch up to you." Great documentary with a powerful message.

dgates: The poster said that this documententary is being glorified for all the reasons. He/she did not say that it was made to glamorize or glorify the drug trade. The person is right; people often get "hyped" when they see documentaries like this. It's unfortunate because the odds are that someone IS going to get motivated to live this life. I'd say that out of 100 people who fantasize about having all of the things that dealers get, about 1 of them will attempt the life. That's one too many. That's not to say that they shouldn't make these documentaries, but it's got its effects.

You're right. Good point.
