The coroner's report came back that Quiet Riot lead singer, Kevin Dubrow, died of a cocaine overdose. My god, how much of this stuff do you have to take at one time to actually die from it? I know everyone's different, but take an average guy who likes to party a little, how much does he have to take to actually od. When do you know that you've reached your limit? When you watch movies like Scarface, Goodfellas and Blow, you'd think that everyone can do a ton. I guess not. Any thoughts?

When mixed with other drugs (Oxycontin, etc) it doesn't take much to kill ya, and yeah, everyone is different.

we saw Kevin 2 weeks prior to his death.
the thing about Cocaine or other "uppers" is that they
are poison in your body. they speed up your metabolism
because your body is naturally trying to kick it out.
like that first drink, somebody starts to feel a little good
so they drink another.
same with cocaine. feel good, so let's do another line or bump or whatever.
then your heart speeds up SO MUCH that the beats per minute are too much and you have a heart attack.
very common.
very sad.
