their money today...

If they don't haver a stash they are stone cold morons. I can't believe they did not manage to stash cash or gold...somewhere. I'm not saying they did not. They cannot say.

"Stashing" cash is a stupid thing to do because of the likelihood of it remaining safe and hidden for the many years of a prison sentence. Plus you still have the problem of cash that is unaccounted for. Good luck laundering that money now that you have become a person of interest. There are smart ways of putting money aside. A simple example was used in Wall Street 2: Gordon Gecko donated his whole fortune to a trust to which his daughter was the main beneficiary. When he got out of jail he then managed to convince her to get it back to him

That money would have been confiscated too in real life. You can't gift laundered money.

I'd like to know the same thing. Do they have some of that money today.
Just have a legal job and use small amounts from that money here and there.

Remember there's a photo of Jon Robert's cash stash planted under a tree in his yard. Also, Roberts had a lot of money in Panamanian banks and remember he said Noriega took all of it.
Also, Gotta realize most of these drug dealers usually don't expect to live long so they party like it's 1999 with their ill gotten gains.
