Better than hustle + flow...
tiny budget, predictable twists... but very well acted, decent script and a very entertaining movie.
Themes of redemption, family, loyality, the streets... plenty worse movies out there....

Depends on what you mean on try. If you mean being as stupid as yours truly and buy the DVD, then don't. If you mean rush to Blockbuster and rent it, then don't. But if you mean, falling asleep on the couch and waking up in the middle of the night and reaching for your leftover pizza while flipping channels and accidentally tuning in on it - then by all means, give it a try.
Otherwise, nothing in it, unless one of the actors is an all-time fav.
The movie was well done, the plot was just boring. Worth watching once then forgetting (except for the dancing scene. I could watch Tatyana dance all day.)
