Disappointing

So many bits and pieces that ended up not going anywhere. One example is the bug.

The drawings the little boy did actually had very little to do with the movie besides the fact he drew a lot of trees. They could've gotten rid of the drawings entirely and just have him hang out by trees all the time.

Instead of using the end of the film to reveal the reality of what happened, the director chose to just use confusing scenes in which the mother and father flip-flopped roles. We get the full reveal as the credits are rolling, which is really too late. Come on.

That being said, it wasn't unwatchable, but there are definitely huge problems with this film.
