Everything you say is wrong.
1. The DS boys are genuine guys who do not let fame go to their head, they are really good friends on and off the camera. I have had the pleasure of meeting Pritchard and Dainton and they were just 2 normal guys.
2. DS dont need other people, thats what gives the show its edge. Nothing is staged. They do not need famous people to boost their ratings.
3. How much DS have you watched to come to this conclusion. It must have been more than one. Something must have kept you watching! As for going to far, some people want more than the pathetic "stunts" that Jackass has to offer. It is basically a childish prank show.
4. Well it has already been said. They have a huge following. People pay for their DVDS and to go see them live in clubs.
5.Pritchard, Dainton and Pancho are all professional skaters and have been signed to skating companies since they were young and Pritchard was known as the best skateboarder in the UK.Dainton now manages his own skate team. Also both Pritchard and Dainton have got their own clothing ranges through other companies. They are aslo sponsered to represent different companies such as Globe, etnies, death skateboards, bawbags and many more.
6. DS also has its spin off shows, Prichard and Dainton have had shows like "Wrecked" and "Sanchez get high". Who actually watched "Viva la bam"? Bam is a complete *beep* how the hell is he more adoreable than the DS boys? Frankly looking at his face makes me angry! Look at how he treats his family, he is obviously a dick.
The boys from DS have also done live shows all over the world, I dont see the guys from Jackass doing that. Obviously the DS boys have followers all over the world.
Jackass has only had two series and two films. Dirty Sanchez has had 5 series and a film wih another on the way.

He has been very much owned , the only good character on jackass in Johnny and i still dont even like him.
