I could never find a torrent for this, but I just joind netflix and they have it. You can join for free for like to weeks, just enough time to get this and wath it. best of luck!

This is likely completely useless, but you might want to check your public library... I just checked out the Oyster Farmer from mine this afternoon. My public library has a great selection of DVDs that you check out for 7 days for free. But it varies greatly from each public library system. I’ve found public libraries that don’t have any DVDs and then others that you have to pay a few dollars to check out; the time you have it for also varies (usually from 2 to 7 days).

shareShame on you people for looking for sites to get pirated copies of it! People worked really hard to make this film at great expense - so if you want to see it do the right thing and buy it or borrow it from a library that paid for it!

One day they will wake up to smell the flowers and find they will all be gone, and yet they will still remain clueless... what a shame.
And it is quite ironic because in the case of this film, it took a gigantuan effort to raise funding, a lot of it by way of public money, yes taxpayers money
, because it is just so difficult to raise money for the Australian film industry through the private sector. This is a scarce resource and also another reason for this film to be a joint Australian & British co-production.
This is a quality film and I pray that the Australian film industry will remain vibrant enough for it to survive without becoming a victim to piracy.
