Who liked it? I did!

I just watched this last night - after watching 2 episodes of Moonlight I thought I'd check out this film because I liked Alex O'Loughlin in that show, and also in Mary Bryant.

I thought it was a really good Aussie film - which is always a nice surprise! The cinematography was good, and the Hawkesbury looked lovely! And great performances all round.
4/5

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I would've never picked it up for myself if it hadn't been for Alex O Loughlin (because of my Moonlight addiction.. I confess.), but I'm glad I did. I even ended up buying a copy of it and have watched it a couple more times, since. :)

Yep, I really enjoyed this film too. I agree about the cinematography..it was wonderful, the acting was great, and the characters were very realistic..not to mention the great story..

Paranoid? Well, that just confirms all my suspicions.

I really enjoyed the film as well. I loved the stories, they were beautifully intertwined, and the scenery (nature and human) was fantastic!

I bought it on Amazon also because of Alex (via Moonlight)....

I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

It was easy going with down to earth characters and a good story line.

I also agree about the scenery. I love the Aussie films, they have such a beautiful country and it will probably be the only way I will ever get to see any of it.

I really liked it too, and as its one of my favourites, because I'm going to tape it this Sunday night, on Abc1. 8.30pm.

Yay!

Very few films, regardless of country, show “country” life with any refinement.
This film did and with pure class.
And Jack Thompson staggering out of the brush was a jolt!

A great Aussie flick! I saw this movie for the first time only a few years ago on the ABC and really enjoyed it. I remember travelling on the train from Sydney to the Central Coast, and seeing the Hawkesbury.

Still great!
