WHO BRIBES THE BALL BOY?

Near the beginning, when the Duluth Bulldogs only own one football, there's a water boy/ball boy on the sideline, and a man sneaks up to him, whispers in his ear and slips him a silver dollar. Later the kid runs away with the ball and Duluth has to forfeit because they only had that one ball.

WHO'S THE GUY WHO BRIBES THE KID?

He gets a couple of nice closeups and seems very recognizable, but I can't place him. Is it Robert Wuhl, the comedy/character actor from Arliss?

I hope somebody's still reading the boards on this now-getting-old movie!
