Just because French people have been good to you in your life doesn't necessarily mean the same for others. I know people who think the same as me, that's why I stated it. Everyones experience with the French can't be the same can it? From my experience the French hate everyone who isn't French and they tend to stay in their own communities.
What year did you come to England? I'm an Indian living in England, and they're fine now, racism has died down in London, they actually like Indian culture now and actually copy us in style of cooking, fashion etc.

ive been 2 england 5 times in my life, and EVERY occasion something BAD happened. 1. Got Mugged, 2. Got accosted by passer-bys, 3. Racist Slurs all over the place just because i rarely speak english 2 my family members or friends when im with them (I have a strong indian accent), 4. my living habits are made fun of just because i dont drink alcohol or tea/coffee, 5. Got mugged again and that too in the vicinity of the Airport.
Strangely nothing happened 2 me whenever i went to France. I never had problems there and my family has many friends who r of french origin. In fact my french friends (and german ones too) r the only non-indian friends of mine who love watching hindi movies. Well neways, u can say im a bit biased as I speak better french than english. Tell me do u think my english is ok enough?
