I'm Confused?

I know this game has the remake of the N64 game in it, but when they mean mutliplayer do they mean something like the one on the N64 which was a blast to play. Also are the old war/new war campaigns only online or can you play it multiplayer at home without online???

The multiplayer is class based rather then picking up weapons, you can turn it to team deathmatch by disabling the missions, but as far as i can tell, there is no true death match, every man for himself...sadly. the change in multiplayer is different, not bad...it is at least as entertaining as the original, only now you need to form teams, i supose you could just kill your team mates and go by the kills at the end to see who wins, but it realy isnt set up for it.

Thanks for the info, what i remember from the old N64 game the multiplayer was the "old war" which poked fun at saving private ryan. The little games you could play like capture the flag or the beach head i would play for hours and hours and never got boring. Also for an N64 the feeling of the game and background sound were top notch, like the sound machine guns in the distance and seeing bullet tracers fly high above which to my suprise has not been propery recreated in any other WW2 game to date.
