Any open minded persons on the this board?
Regardless of the censorship, the single player portion of the game remains true to the original. In fact, it made some gameplay adjustments to make the gun play less frustrating and the camera less aggravating. No longer do we have to hold the trigger to aim at a desired target. Jumping while holding a gun feels ever so good, as well. And no more fighting with the camera control from time to time. As for the graphics enhancement, the game truly achieves high definition gaming for the original Xbox- So due to the amount of graphical detail, game is now, more than ever, true to the movies it parodies and the humors it attempts(Try recalling the It's War level from the games. Remember the parts about the starting point and the electrified soldier, which includes the added scenes). Multiplayer, however, may stray away from the original's, but it takes advantage of Xbox-live. How can we blame it for that? If some of our acquired taste does not, for the faint of heart, favor the online gameplay, then we must not deem it as "suck or lesser than the original." We cannot state our opinions as facts, but we can show our statements with facts backing up our own arguments. Though, I for one favor the online play... but I cannot deny the fun I had with the original.
If you are wondering... Yes, I have played the original(just finished it two times last week, too!). And yes, I have played the new one(Already finished it but gona' finish it again!). Please, do not let your feeling of nostalgia fool you, gamers.
No hard feelings to those who prefer the original, for I prefer both the games... original and new.
