PSH's portrayal of capote was such a stereotypical gay man, it was off putting. Was his voice really that annoying and nasally? Listening to him talk is like nails on a chalkboard.

shareCapote was a flamboyant man, totally at ease with is sexuality, an overt and happily gay. And really I think PSH toned it down. The Infamous version of him is more accurate I think. That being said I loved PSH as Truman and this is one of my all time favorite movies. As for Truman voice, to each their own, but I could listen to him all day.
