what the???

ok...umm..... why?

I saw this movie....not 20 minutes ago.... and normally I dont' mind kids movies or even family movies...

but this one stunk worse than wet dog, or "doggie doo." in one scene Jennifer Tilly and Tim Curry(both great actors..i'll get to them later) discuss why it's unfair that the dog gets the money, and then discuss what to do....
they then come to some agreement and do a stupid dance they do like 5 times throughout the entire movie. the next scene, they do the EXACT! same thing. we got information we got in the previous scene.

ok now for the two afore mentioned actors. ....were they THAT desperate for work??? I mean come on! they are great actors, Jen Tilly plays a great ditz, and Tim Curry did better in McHale's Navy, which by the way was pretty cheesy, but still better than this. both of them were horrible in this film. why? I put the blame on the screenwriter and director. I dont' mean offence to them I'm sure they worked very hard on this movie, and I know it's not easy to make a movie. but sometimes you wonder,....what were they thinking??

the writing was so bad, i mean dialogue seemed like it was taken from movies from all over. cliches were abundant and overused. this was written more like a radio drama......nix that...a radio show...nothing dramatic about it.
im sure this would have been something more enjoyable, in fact would have not been half bad were it produced as such. however radio shows are not very popular now a days....or even better released as an audio book...for kids.

anyway...the movie stunck...and yes I added a C in that...makes it feel more ucky. which is how i felt after watching this movie. the ending was the worst.

but enough about that...let's get onto what was good about it....

....

...... oh well... we tried.

I agree. This movie is pathetic. I was so looking forward to seeing Tim Curry and Jennifer Tilly performing together in it and did not enjoy their performances at all--painful to watch and listen to. I had to force myself to sit and watch this and fell asleep before the end. I think the only people who might enjoy it would be preschool age.

Perhaps with a better script and director, they could have made something out of the concept and put all the actors to better use.

I just watched it because Max Baker was in it. Not that he had a huge role. But I still love seeing him. (happy sigh) But the movie itself? Not so much. What the heck were they thinking? Still not the worst movie I've ever seen. That's reserved for Vampire Assassin.

Yes, the movie was terrible. I rented it only to see Dean Cain's performance. He was okay. Were the actors desperate for money, as some else had said previously?
