Kid Notorious movie?

I just read in an interview with Robert Evans that there's going to be a Kid Notorious movie (that's not The Kid Stays in the Picture). Is there any information on it yet?

I went to an "Evening with Robert Evans" in Hollywood about six months ago, and he mentioned that there would be a movie, but it was just a passing mention and he didn't say anything more about it. I would have asked but there was no Q&A.

I don't think the series (which I thought was really funny) ever found its proper audience on Comedy Central; they haven't even ever released the 9 episodes (8 plus pilot) on DVD, or at least not as yet, though it's shown up in the 3:30 am slot occasionally. So I wonder how much of an audience there would be for a movie. Did he say whether it would be cartoon, or live action? And where did you see the interview?

lol i love K.N. the movie would be funny if it started out as a cartoon for like the first 15 mins and then it became live action. that would be cool. well that's just my opinion.....

current favorite movies: robocop, predator, aliens trilogy!

robocop, predator and aliens?
not quite "brainer-movies"... guess if you like braindead action they're nice

If he wanted your opinion on movies that are considered sci-fi action classics by most film critics/real people, he would have asked it.

I was lucky enough to meet Robert Evans last week at event on the Paramount Lot. I asked him about Kid Notorious. He said that he'd love to see it out on DVD or BluRay, but he said the powers that be aren't really concerned with that idea right now. I got the impression that he'd really get behind it with extras and the like. He really loved doing the show. It came along too early for Comedy Central. It really was "too cool for the room." I think if it would've popped up on Adult Swim a couple if years later instead, I think it would have found it's following.
