I find it that I increasingly see the guys as immoral and evil, seeing as how they treat Eddie. The guy wants to earn a living, and in 605, they ruin his business.
Why are the writers still forcing this thing? Will it get better later on? The poor guy is gonna have a nervous break down.
I agree. It makes them unlikeable, i.e. I enjoy the show but would not want to make friends with them. Regarding the bar, they kind of own it means that Eddie went from owner to partner to employee to dolt due to their actions.
Yeah, but I'm wondering if "real" grifters would be half as nice as they are to Eddie. They keep him around because he has what they need - an office/meeting place with drinks, basically, that they can access anytime they want.
Who pays the rent? What area of London is it supposed to be in? I can't imagine him making rent each month with so few customers. Is Eddie on salary? I guess the gang subsidize everything?
