Anyone else cringe during those nods to the camera? Breaking the fourth wall ruins the suspension of disbelief and this show requires a lot of that. That and the techno gimmickry they use to defeat alarms and security is a bit far fetched to anyone familiar with it. But Hollywood is just a guilty of that.

shareIt's a clever device that's been used many times in movies as well as just in Hustle, for drawing the viewer closer to the action. I'm like Nicco and the others. I love it.
I think it's cute as well. It fits in particularly well when they're doing the 'stop time' thing, etc. Yes, it does break the fourth wall (or whatever) but it's always done 'en pointe'.
I really love the series and the various 'theme' episodes. The 'Bollywood' episode was fantastic.
