Funny and entertaining.

Punto y raya is a very funny and entertaining film. A fiction on the "friendship" of two stereotypical soldiers: one from a Venezuelan "barrio" and one from a Colombian "paramo" (Andean rural area), having as background the border problems among the two countries, the guerrilla warfare, the "narcos" (drug traffickers), and the paramilitary.
"Cheito" (the "veneco") is a "picaro" from Caracas, on the best tradition of the Spanish picaresque. Pedro is the "caliche", the very formal inhabitant of the Andes (of the two countries, by the way), very respectful of traditions and of the concept of God, the fatherland, etc.
There are a few details on continuity and on the veracity of the facts, but don't forget it is a fiction. The rhythm is intense and the action never decays. In enjoyed it, very much. Roque Valero very well performs the role of Cheito.
I think it is a bit biased to the Venezuelan side and there are issues sensitive to both countries, so I would like to read comments by Colombian citizens.
