Hi guys.

I've noticed that "The Other Final" is not available via amazon.com.

You can purchase it for 9.99 Euros (excluding shipment fees) at Free Record Shop, a dutch company.

And don't worry about reliability or anything like that. This is a major Dutch company who also have many shops all over the Netherlands, so they are a very trustworthy seller!

No problem.

This is a pretty rare DVD, though, so there is a great chance that the Free Record Shop store in Emmen doesn't have it in stock. So you might want to call them first and ask them to order the DVD for you so you pick it up later.

I have looked at the Free Record Shop site and it doesn't seem to be available any more, do you know if it is still available in the Netherlands?

Thanks very much for this link - I saw The Other Final a few years ago (at the National Film Theatre in London) and have been meaning to seek it out for ages. I ordered the DVD from your link, it arrived within a week and (despite a few problems with a hard-to-follow DVD menu) watched it straight away.

It's a really inspiring and funny film and a great antidote to the win-at-all-costs attitudes of today's millionaire players. I'm writing this just a few days after the abysmal and dispiriting 2007 FA Cup Final. Incredibly, this FA Cup Final was refereed by Steve Bennett, the same guy who was roped in at the last minute to referee The Other Final!
