Why is not this film chategorized as science fiction?

This is (or should be) one of the science fiction genres main topics: to try to explore the future by extrapolating the trends we see today. If a society doesn't welcome baby girls the future will be dark. Other similar science fiction movies is "The Animal Farm" (what will communism lead to") and "1984" (what happens if Government control all information). So I wonder why is not this film chategorized as science fiction?

Because it is happening as we speak, moron.

It is not science fiction because it is true. Science fiction is not real.
