Prince (Purple Rain) and Whoopi Goldberg (The Color Purple)... those are about as close to indigo as you are going to get. Sorry, the whole thing is toffee. First it was Mormons, and God in a Hat, then we get David Icke, Reptilian Royals, then Scientology and Thetans, now it's Indigo... If there is intelligent life anywhere else in the universe, which given the amount of stars in the sky is a distinct possiblity, they sure as hell aren't visiting Earth impregnating people, neither are we "harnessing the powers of the Earth".
Any potential intelligent life from another planet would hopefully be intelligent enough to stay the hell away from this planet, lest it give the USA someone else to start a war with....
Why can people not accept that we are here, we die, and that's that. Fear would be my guess..

Oh yes.. Scientology! One of my favourite topics :) A dangerous, litigious, CULT (come on you nutty bunch of kitty litter contents.. sue me!). Bunch of money grabbing, power hungry lunatics. Another example of how religious privilege is the easiest thing in the world to claim, use, and more importantly abuse.
Perhaps Scientology could do the world a favour, and recruit the parents of these supposedly amazing "indigo children" and sod off to an island in the middle of nowhere and see how they like being indoctrinated and brainwashed with a pile of old horse droppings.
