Saw It On Logo

Hey all, I saw the movie on the Logo Channel and it exceeded my expectations. I must say it was a very heartwarming film and like one of the users said, there isn't a film like it! I have it recorded on TiVO and will rip it on DVD so I can upload it somewhere for those that didn't see it.

Thank you for posting those. It was great!

Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

I'm wondering how much they edited out. They would certainly have to cut parts of the "peeping Tom" scene where there is full frontal female nudity. Even the hilarious horse racing scene where they get a woman to root for a horse named "My Face" might have been bleeped. I would hope not, but with Logo, you never know.

Heh. I saw it on Logo too. They (obviously) cut the nudity from the peeping tom scene, but they didn't cut the horse racing part. That was terrible, but I must admit, I laughed--a lot.

Overall, it was a pretty good movie. A little contrived (I think that's the word) but still very entertaining--especially Nathan Fillion.

I agree.... a lot of hard work and effort with probably not a lot of return. I found this at Hollywood Video and it's surely available on Netflix.

I just finished watching it from Netflix and it's, even with it's raw language, is quite heartwarming. I'm sure the language is quite typical of a family of 3 or more brothers.

I'm watching this now...TiVoed from LOGO...and I'm really liking it. Nathan Filion really gave the movie a nice comedic touch. I'm glad for the LOGO channel. I'm not gay but I'm glad for the opportunity to see films that show gay life in a nonsterotypical way. I think the channel itself could do a lot to break down the walls of prejudice. Of course that could just be me wearing my rose colored glasses.
