Pete Jones is gay?

Okay, I know that it doesn't mean someone is gay if they act, write, and direct a movie about being gay; but it just seems odd for a sophomore attempt to stray very far from home.

I should probably mention that I don't have anything against gay people at all. Not even a little. I wish all men were gay. Then I would be the only straight man on the planet. I'd be sure to get a girl then, right?

Anyway, Pete Jones is about Pete Jones, you know. He stays in Chicago; probably always will. He incorporates everything from his own life in his movies. So the gay thing seems like this big departure from his style (if you can have a style after two movies).

Why do I care? Because I watched Project Greenlight and I would feel sorry for his wife after she put up with all his "going-after-the-dream-even-though-I'm-married-with-a-new-kid-and-one-on-the-way" stuff.

No he is not gay, I read an article cause I was just wondering myself...didn't matter to me either way, cause the movie was funny and kinda sad.

But no basically he said he wrote it from the POV of what if one of his family members came out gay...I like the fact that he can go far from what he actually is..shows a good writer ..or at least a good attempt(ill go with good writer since I enjoyed this).

I work with Pete Jones brothers and one of his closest friends. Pete is NOT gay although his pals teased him on what an "incredibly believable" performance he gave. lol.

Of course he's not gay, but he did a good acting job in the film. Anyone know what he's working on now? He's very talented, I'd like to see him make more films.

"Outing Riley" was funny with a strong message about family and relationships. A very refreshing film. Can't see why it went straight to DVD, it would have made it in the art house theatres across the country.
