No love for the Protagonist!

Is it possible to hate the protagonist anymore than in this movie? Abe (Andrew Lee Potts) is just so annoying that I have no problem seeing him killed, his nuts cut off and shove up his bum and his head cutoff. I think this is probably a casting problem and partially the directors fault. There's just no way to relate to his character...and all I can ask myself is how the hell did Gary Oldman and Terence Stamp get conned into being in this movie!
