so stinky

If you are thinking of watching this movie just dont bother. Seriously I have watched some crap but this was rotten.

reply

Must agree. Zombie movies are generally bad by definition, but this pushed the limits down even further.

reply

I agree. I watched this film last night, and I had to force myself to keep watching. Its a rubbish film.

reply

Oh, come on now. A zombie chained up in the shed for your pleasure must be worth something!

reply

I haven't seen this film, but no way man!!! Zombie movies are not crap! What about classics such as Romero's Trilogy? And Fulci?

To be fair though everybody has their own opinion, I myself am a die-hard fan of most horror movies, be them cheesy B-movies or big budget films (Although, I usually preffer Low-budget horrors)

Now I want to see this film, purely because almost everybody has said it's crap, I'll probably love it! Haha.

reply

And even though you didn't liked it you came here to check out the IMDb page of this so called crap movie?

reply

LOL Noury, absolutely!

This is a great film, a whacked out freaky-weird film sure but great nonetheless!

no...just me baby...just me.

reply

Yeah I loved this film. So much better than the usual STV crap these days.

reply

Awful film 85 minutes i will never get back. Throw my copy out of the window

reply

I was distracted by the lousy production values. I suppose the only nice thing I can say is the NM landscape was stunning.

Oh man this movie sucked!! Terrible acting. Terrible makeup, why are all the zombies blue?? They could have at least tried to pick an actress who isnt a total fat ass. I'm not picky usually but this girl was huge!! And she is supposed to be sexy?? There isnt even an attempt to have a storyline. I know its low budget horror but it wouldnt kill you to have a plot.
I love zombie movies, but if you can get yourself to sit through more than 20 minutes crap than there is something seriously wrong with you.

reply

... It was really good, wasn't it? It had lots of gore, decent-looking zombies, a little nudity and a really cool guy named "Matool"!

I loved this movie, it had almost everything i want in a zombiemovie!

reply

I have to also shout out props for that old dude's enormous fuzzy hat. Seriously, he looked like he had an entire wombat on his head. That was pretty cool.

reply

yep, this was a real stinker.

I think the makers of this ....i can't find words for it .... are related with Ulli Lommel.

I've seen better movies on you tube.

reply

Well I just started watching it and I'm 10 minutes into it. I did like the opening theme song. I can see they were going for a Clint Eastwood or Spaghetti Western type of feel with a lot of close-ups. Also it's like the intro to a video game with the shots of the two main people with their names. Like these are the guys you have to follow through the movie.

They throw you right into the action with no explaination which will hopefully lead to character development (even a little) and what is going on with the Zombies. That's not bad but it just isn't that interesting.

Sure there's a zombie vs hero fight and a zombie eating scene right away.
But what makes a low budget zombie movie is the inventive ways of getting around no effects budget. But instead of being creative they go for the "CUT AWAY SHOT". That means you only see the after effects of the carnage.
There's a zombie's head getting a HUGE nail through it but you don't see the actual nail going through. Then the zombies are eating a guy but you only see their face, the guy, then the zombie face again with a piece of something in their mouth. No actual flesh ripping off the body.

Then the "hero" rescues the girl and finds an old shack and breaks down the door. Then an old guy sitting on a chair with two kids around him "The door was locked for a reason". Now the first thing would be to board up the door RIGHT AWAY. But instead the "hero" relaxes and hits on the girl he saves.

Of course the movie could get better as it goes along. But I judge most movies from the first 10 minutes. If it wasn't free on netflix i'd have stopped watching.

So in a nutshell if this is the set up the rest might probably just... STINK.

I will give it credit. One of the zombies attacking the shack looks like the zombie from the Airport scene in "Dawn of the Dead 78". It's wearing a shirt, KINDA like the one in "Dawn 78".

reply

Whoops.

I just watched a few more minutes and it got WORSE. Though a little more zombie muching with an attempt at showing flesh being ripped off.

reply

Just utterly boring.

reply

I hate to say it, (Since the people behind it are obviously fans of the genre and clearly had little money to work with.) but I have to agree it is stinky.

I like many American and Italian low budget horror flicks of the 70's and 80's, but at least they had some sort of production values going for them.
But this is a ultra low budget film, i.e like a group of friends getting together for a weekend with a camcorder. They try getting around this in classic exploitation style, with some cheap sex scenes and shock tactics.
But they weren't enough to mask the serious lack of money and (sometimes) talent involved for me.

The "Matool" character was cool though.
