Where were her parents that night?

I always just assumed her mom was at the shop doing inventory or whatever late, because she was written like a workaholic. As for her dad, hate to admit it but when I read it I thought he was having an affair or something. I guess he could have just been out very late, but she got home waaay past last call if he were in a bar...either that or they both realize their marriage is not strong and they have a don't ask don't tell sort of open relationship going on? idk

I think they were at a stamp collectors convention in Kansas while the party was going on, and being they live very far from Kansas it took them hours of driving to get back so they didn't get back until long after K Stew had came back home.

I think the mom was working. As for the dad, maybe he was hanging out with friends/work buddies.
