saw the film, loved the film
Saw Some Things That Stay on Friday night in the theatre. Enjoyed it very much. A moving and sweet story about a young girl in that transition stage between childhood and adulthood, learning that life is complicated and that pain is as much a part of life as is joy.
The acting in the film is fantastic. Katie Boland, who plays that young girl, Tamara, is just brilliant. But there are many many terrific performances in the film from actors both young and old.
It’s a great looking movie too, visually beautiful – all those hot Ontario summer landscapes.
A perfect film to take your mother or daughter to, but expect to cry.
