I think if this movie would have been shot better it might have been a good movie. Using such a bad digital camera made the acting look bad, the effects look bad, and ruined the atmosphere. Too bad. It could have been really good.
shareIn a way I think it kind of worked for the movie. It seemed as if the things were happening for real. I have to give this movie a 10. Not because I'm a major fan of Lovecraft but because of what the director was able to acomplish on such a LOW budget. Somebody PLEASE give this director money! He has AMAZING ideas and a flare for imagry and storytelling. This is going on my list of favorite movies.

Man i was bored... i mean i saw some pretty low budget movie before, some where awefull, some where decent, but here nothing really kept me interest. The special effect has said where awefull, the camera use look way too much amateurish, the story in itself is not that bad but the lack of action kills it, way too much blabla for nothing that is there to hide the lack of special effect. Im not saying anything against the director because of what he was using(money and equipement), but overall man...i was really bored. I buyed that for 5$ hoping for a good haunted house movie(i saw some low budget that where still good) and it was not the case.
And i didn't even mentioned the terrible voice of the actors. I known they are spanish and so they have accent, but all the movie they talked to each other in english with terrible accent and some parts where hard to understand, specially since english is not my first language myself. I have no probleme understanding american speaking english, but when it comes to other peoples(british, spanish, french from france) its hard to understand them.
I see you definitely have an hard time understanding since they are Italian not Spanish.
shareThe acting and storyline in general was quite boring. Most of the time we sat there thinking what is actually happening? However, on a plus side it was very atmospheric and had some amazing camera shots for such a low budget. I think with the budget the guy had to work with he did a lot. Would be interesting to see the director do more and with some real money and actors.
If you want breakfast in bed, sleep in the kitchen!
