I'm considering seeing this movie, and had a quick technical question, was any of the budget spent on air line tickets or travel expenses? If so please elaborate. Thanks in advance

No, the budget didn't include all the travel. His parents bought his airline tickets back to New Jersey (more specifically, he says "Courtesy of my parents' mastercard."). And the trip to New York was bought on cheap tickets or something like that. So, under $300.

do you kniw the song he was singing on the plane?

Yes, he was singing You Make My Dreams, which was conincidentally playing as the soundtrack at that point in time, By Daryl Hall and John Oates.
