Unbelievable

As many others previously said Kirstie Alley did a very good job playing this role, her acting was very believable, thus making us despise her character even more. But sadly this is only one of very many cases of family violence, which happens all the time.

Sad as it is to say, The Gecks/Burts/whatever their real name is, are but one of a large handful of people who act like this. There is so much child abuse, and spousal abuse, and what have you, it's unreal. Things like this go on every day. Unfortunately, this is just one of the few cases that gets reported and prosecuted.
