why the title machuca??

the film appeared to be centred on the boy, gonzales infante. what is the meaning of the name machuca ??
can any one explain??.

The boy's name is Gonzalo Infante, and the other protagonist is Pedro Machuca. He is the reason.

thats ok. but film is appeared to be centered on the other boy and he is supposed to be the the protogonist.

Yes, but the story is about as changes Infante since he know Machuca, so Machuca is completely essential to the film
