Can Chileans make movies that are not based in politics?

Yes, in fact, not many chilean movies are based on politics (we're not even good at it, so why?). But we could agree that the dictatorship is a too common theme on chilean arts when trying to show "chilean culture" to an international public. Maybe because it's one of the few things known about Chile, with football players and the 33 miners.
